Safety Performance

At Rinker we are focused on continuous improvement of our safety systems, safety culture, and accordingly, safety and health performance.  Currently, our performance places Rinker among the safest companies in all industries in which we operate.

In 2005, more then 60% of the 700+ Rinker operations worldwide achieved zero recordable injuries. This level of performance has resulted in numerous state and national awards including being named a multi-year recipient of the prestigious Sentinels of Safety award by the U.S. Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA), among others.

Despite the improvements and awards, we recognize there is much work to do to achieve and sustain Zero4Life and we are dedicated to this task.
